Underwater Survey
AeroVision offers end-to-end underwater survey solutions, from mission planning and drone deployment to data acquisition and delivery.
Underwater Survey
Underwater Survey Services
We offer drone-deployed underwater survey capability as part of our expanding suite of unmanned survey services, bringing high-resolution acoustic imaging and seabed mapping to clients who need key subsurface data without the complexity of owning and operating specialized equipment. Our proven approach uses acoustic pulse technology to scan wide areas and capture detailed imagery of objects and terrain features, reaching waters and sites that surface vessels cannot access.
Underwater Survey, Delivered
Whether you require search and rescue support, infrastructure inspection, or detailed seabed mapping, we deploy the hardware, operate the mission, and deliver the data you need to make decisions, with no requirement for you to own or operate the equipment. Drone-based deployment minimizes personnel exposure, reduces time on the water, and opens access to hard-to-reach or operationally constrained areas.
What We Bring to Your Mission
Each deployment is built around a fully integrated EchoNIMBUS-SSS payload, featuring dual Cerulean Omniscan 450SS side-scan sonar transducers mounted to our unmanned surface or subsurface platform of choice. The system is self-contained and expedition-ready, transported in a dedicated Explorer case and configured for rapid deployment in the field — minimal setup time, minimal personnel required.
Applications We Support
- Search and Rescue Operations
- Seabed Mapping and Charting
- Underwater Hazard Detection including Shipwrecks and Pipelines
- Archaeological Surveys
- Environmental Monitoring and Assessment Locating Submerged Infrastructure and Debris Fields
